This week I attempted to create my own logo. With the use of vector programing. I wanted to create a clean logo that still captured your attention. At first I wanted to include the name of my Blog so that was my first logo. After working with the application more I soon realized that I enjoyed to simple square designs. So my second attempt was to create an active design just using the squares with similar colors.
I agree, the second one's better. For one thing, the typography for you blog's name doesn't fit with the rest of the graphics in the first one. The second one is okay, but if you really want something that captures perfectly what your blog is going to be about, it needs a bit more work. You should try looking at portfolios of design studios to get more inspiration for your work.
